Band of the Month

The Music. Described as bare-boned, stripped down, elemental blues with a twist. Few bands can truly be called blues, Martini 66 puts the feeling back
The Band. Martini 66 comprises of four of the best hand picked, vine ripened, blues musicians in South East Queensland. The Rhythm section of Tony Vella - Mr T (bass) and Bryan Love (drums) are solid, controlled and have a texture that is expected from blues. Chris Jack (guitar) provides exceptional rhythmic toning while his lead guitar is emotional and passionate. Vocals and harp work are Dik Martini's specialty. His energy and vocal diversity are a blessing to the soul adding atmospherics and drama to the well oiled Martini 66 blues machine.
The News. You've been asking for it - now you've got it! The long awaited release by Martini 66. Finally the CD recorded live at the Basement (Sydney) is available. Come and celebrate the launch of the CD with 19 other acts at the Waterloo on the 5th of July.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.
Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser.
The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
